YEREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan asked Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication Artur Arakelyan at the Cabinet meeting why the construction of the Ashtarak-Talin road of the North-South Highway is being slowed down. The PM stressed that rumors are circulating among the workers and technicians as if the construction is seriously delayed.

“The contractor has a very clear graphic. In this regard we haven’t had alarming calls yet”, Arakelyan said. In response, the PM said: “And isn’t my speech an alarm for you? In that case, what is the reason that the work is being delayed? That Spanish company has become a real evil for the construction. The quality of the road of the Ararat area is not yet good, and now they even can’t fit in the schedule. Understand the reason”.
