Chief Traumatologist says impossible to perform surgery in Police precinct
16:33, 30 July 2016YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS. It is impossible to organize surgeries in the Police precinct, Chief Traumatologist of the Healthcare Ministry Vachagan Ayvazyan told reporters on July 30.
“For 40 years I have been a surgeon, I have passed a pretty long path – earthquake, war. Providing the wounded with phase treatment is the global standard, which begins by first aid. The emergency crew have already provided first aid”, he said, adding that it is impossible to organize a surgery in household conditions.
“The operating table alone weighs 2 tons”, he added.
