Armenian chess players participate in “Abu Dhabi” international tournament
11:22, 23 August 2016YEREVAN, AUGUST 23, ARMENPRESS. “Abu Dhabi” international tournament has been kicked off in the United Arab Emirates.
137 chess players from 32 countries participate in the tournament.
40 grandmasters and 37 international masters are among the participants.
3 Armenian representatives Hrant Melkumyan, Zaven Andriasyan and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan are taking part in the tournament, press service of the Armenian Chess Federation informed “Armenpress”.
Samvel Ter-Sahakyan won in the first round of the tournament, whereas Hrant Melkumyan and Zaven Andriasyan ended the rounds in a draw.
