YEREVAN, AUGUST 25, ARMENPRESS. In the first half of 2016 a record high indicator of exports has been documented – 168 million USD – the highest indicator during the history of independent Armenia.

“We haven’t had such indicator over the last 10 years. The greatest indicator was 143 million USD, if I am not mistaken in 2013. In fact, during the first half of this year we had 25 million USD more exports. This inspires optimism, because if during the first period of accession to the EEU there was a lot of uncertainty, now it is gradually being overcome”, Economy Minister A. Minasyan said after the Cabinet meeting, commenting on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s announcements regarding the 10% growth in Armenia’s GDP.
