YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the participants of All Armenian scientific conference being held in Armenia from September 21-23. The scientists have arrived from the USA, Russia, Japan, Denmark, Germany, Spain and other countries. The conference was organized by the support of the President within the framework of the project “Support for young scientists” and is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Armenian President’s Office, Serzh Sargsyan hailed the visit of the scientists to Motherland and congratulated them on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Independence of Armenia. President Sargsyan highlighted holding the All Armenian scientific conference in capital Yerevan, with the participation of renowned Armenian scientists representing almost all the scientific spheres.

According to the President, similar events are a good opportunity not only for unifying the Armenian scientists of the world, but also for using their experience and connections for properly introducing Armenian young scientists in international platforms and familiarizing them with contemporary scientific trends.

The participant scientists introduced to the President their impressions and expectations from the conference.

President Sargsyan answered the questions of the scientists, presented the main directions of the state policy in the field of education and science, particularly the projects aimed at encouraging and supporting the young scientists.

The Armenian scientists and President Sargsyan exchanged ideas over future cooperation for fostering science and education in Armenia.
