YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. The draft law on making amendments in the law on “Local Taxes and Fees” is being discussed in the extraordinary session of the Parliament, reports “Armenpress”.

First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan said the draft is based on easing the burden of certain part of economic entities through the principle of creating equal conditions.

“Actually, the entities dealing with small and medium enterprises proposed to revise the adoption of the law. The current law created unequal conditions between the different-sized entities over burden permission”, he said.

He said the draft law proposes to define concrete separation, in other words, to define permit fees sizes in accordance with the physical sizes of the objects.

Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Hermine Naghdalyan welcomed the draft law and said it can have an impact on especially SMEs economic conditions.
