YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The Parliament of Armenia adopted the draft law on making amendments in the law on “Structure of the Government of the Republic of Armenia” at first reading.

77 MPs voted in favor of the draft law, 2 against, and 9 abstained, reports “Armenpress”.

During the September 26 session acting Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan presented the draft law which proposes to rename the Economy Ministry into Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, the Ministry of Transport and Communication into Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources into Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources and to remove the Urban Development Ministry.
