YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS. The “100+1” concert was held on September 28 in the Komitas Chamber Music House within the framework of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival of the Ministry of Diaspora. The concert was attended by Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan.

The concert was hosted by Honored Journalist of Armenia Sargis Najaryan. Performances were delivered by Karine Helmar-Gevorgyan and Krister Wikmark (Sweden), Nare (Lebanon), Sose Grigoryan (Israel), Adel Azroyan (Russia), Marina Berberyan and Irena Koffman (USA), Aram Khorozyan (Syria), Sar Sargsyan (NKR), who played famous pieces by Komitas, Sayat-Nova, Arno Babajanyan, Eduard Mirzoyan, Makar Ekmalyan.

Poems by Petros Duryan, Vahan Tekeyan and Siamanto were recited.

Hakob Guyumjyan, who repatriated from Lebanon, recited E. Charents’ “Yes im anush Hayastani” poem.

Stefania Topalyan (Japan) and Vahe Tilbyan (Ethiopia) performed the “Don’t Deny” song, which is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, and which was performed in the 2015 Eurovision song contest.

The “Tsakhkazard” ensemble of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese also performed, followed by canon player, People’s Artist of Armenia Hasmik Leyloyan and Honored Worker of Culture of Armenia, composer Anahit Shahgeldyan and others.

Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan delivered a speech afterwards.
