Manchester United’s fans demand Jose Mourinho to play Mkhitaryan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Fans of midfielder of Armenian National Team and Manchester United Henrikh Mkhitaryan demand the club’s manager Jose Mourinho to allow him to play. “Armenpress” reports users of social networks believe the team needs him and with the help of Mkhitaryan the English club will able to make great achievements.

“Play him ! He is the best player from Bundesliga ... He needs to play and to show what he can do!”, writes Facebook user Reda Beld.

“In all honesty if Miki can give 70% of what he gave to BVB this season, UTD would run away with this title. I don't just know what the problem has been. Even if he flops, Miki needs to play to gain confidence and know the team. Pogba has flopped hard since signing for UTD and Ibra has flopped in the last 4 games, yet they are not benched. If there's a player who is a dribbler and a creator with excellent work rate, it's Miki! Play him!” writes Chukwuemeka Ogbu.

“I'm pretty sure he can play in pretty much any attacking position including, winger, CAM, etc. He's a very good player and has bags of potential, he's got great positioning and his response should definitely be better if given the chance tomorrow!” writes Yung Doc.

“You need players like him and Martial, they will destroy the opposition with counter attacks” Keith Sibanda writes.

“It's time for Micki to play...please Jose ....he is one of the best players we have” writes Rishov Mukherjee.

“Get him playing regularly then, we are in desperate need of goals” writes Rishov Mukherjee.

“Please play Mkhitaryan, it is time for him to show his class and needs to build up match fitness” writes Yousuf Khan.

“Why buy players if you won't play them? Really can't understand the logic behind it” Bolaji Ajiborisha expresses embarrassment.

“I hope he starts and show Mourinho how good he really is!” writes Nico Rigan.

Jose Mourinho is closer to fielding Henrikh Mkhitaryan for only the sixth time in a competitive match after reporting Manchester United's first Armenian star is now fit and training well, the official MU website reported.

Mkhitaryan has been unavailable since making his solitary start for the Reds in the Manchester City match at Old Trafford - prior to that, he had come on as a substitute in the Community Shield triumph against Leicester City and opening three Premier League victories over Bournemouth, Southampton and Hull City.

When asked at his pre-match press conference if Henrikh could return in Thursday's Europa League clash at home to Fenerbahce, the United manager replied:

"He was injured and he was injured for quite a long time. Now, he’s not injured anymore.

"He’s training with the team without any limitation. I cannot confirm if he’s [ready] for tomorrow or not, but he’s fit and it’s now time for him to go back to the levels we know that he can achieve."
