YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s trade turnover with EU countries amounted to 1.2 billion USD in 2015, which is 25% of the total volume of Armenia’s turnover, President of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce Martin Sargsyan said during the annual forum of “Eastern Investments”.

“The EU’s initiatives aimed at developing the capacities of institutions operating in Armenia deserve special attention. Such comprehensive approach contributes to the long-term improvement of structures which impact the business environment, taking into account the EU’s experience”, Sargsyan said.

According to him, the “Eastern Investments” project, implemented within the framework of the Eastern Partnership is one of such established projects.
