YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian tablet producing “Technology and Science Dynamics” company plans to increase production volumes and multiply employee numbers in the upcoming 7 years as result of new investments. Currently 105 people are employed by the company, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments Garegin Melkonyan said during the Cabinet meeting, while presenting the draft on providing the company operation permit in the “Alliance” free economic zone.

According to Melkonyan, the company – which is one of the first operators in the “Alliance” Free Economic Zone – is representing the “armtab”, “Armenian tablet” and “armphone”, “Armenian phone” trademarks and its products, which have great demand.

“During the initial years of its activities (2015-2016), more than 2000 devices were sold (tablets and mobile phones), the number will increase up to 3500-4000 until the end of 2016, in the upcoming years this number is planned to be increased up to 15 thousand. The productions will be exported to USA, EEU, EU and Middle Eastern countries and others. In 2015 the company exported several solutions in the field of IT, telecommunication, data transfer devices, system and material design, the total value of which amounted to approximately 400 million AMD”, Melkonyan said.

3.8 million USD were invested during 2014-2016. Another 3 million USD are planned to be invested during the upcoming 7 years.
