Armenia’s foreign minister, Arab League Secretary General discuss Middle East situation

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. Edward Nalbandian, minister of foreign affairs of Armenia, had a meeting on February 17 with Ahmed Aboul-Gheit , Secretary-General of theArab League, in Munich.

The meeting comprehensively focused on cooperation between Armenia and Arab states. The sides noted the traditional warm brotherly Armenian-Arab relations.

The foreign ministry told ARMENPRESS the parties exchanged ideas on developments in the Middle East, efforts on settling the Syrian crisis and the anti-terror fight of the international community.

Nalbandian and Aboul-Gheit also discussed urgent international issues.
