YEREVAN, MARCH 22, ARMENPRESS. On March 22 a solemn ceremony dedicated to the restoration of tomb of Jesus Christ was held in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

Armenia’s delegation led by Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian took part in the event, press service of the MFA told “Armenpress”.

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, high-ranking officials of different states, leaders of Christian churches, a number of believers attended the ceremony.

The same day FM Nalbandian visited the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem where he had a meeting with Patriarch Archbishop Nourhan Manougian.

Thereafter, they visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre where they participated in the solemn ceremony.

A number of clergymen, including Patriarch Archbishop Nourhan Manougian delivered speeches at the ceremony. The message of Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II was read.
