YEREVAN, MARCH 29, ARMENPRESS. Private companies will finance companies that have innovative ideas in the information technology field, reports Armenpress.

Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan said nearly 200.000 USD investment will be made for preliminary ideas. “Later we plan to establish a fund. We have examined the international experience regarding this. The fund will be open for all companies and financial people”, the Minister said.

Businessman, co-owner of Zangi company Eduard Marutyan said the ideas will be selected by a special commission. “Importance will be attached to the team, ideas. Initially we will finance 10 projects. The deadline for submitting the ideas is April 13”, he said.

Businessmen Ara Yaghjyan said tho selected companies will receive methodological support and consulting.
