YEREVAN, JULY 17, ARMENPRESS. On July 17 Colonel Artur Vanoyan, Deputy Commander of the Patrol Regiment of the Yerevan Police Department has been killed in the line of duty.

Colonel Vanoyan was born in 1967. He graduated the Agricultural Academy and the Russian Interior Ministry’s Management Academy. He began serving in the Police force in 1995. Was awarded many times for excellent service.

Colonel Vanoyan was married with three children.
