YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Pre-Clearance Control Department of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia prevented several cases of customs rules violations in Bagratashen, Bavra and Meghri checkpoints.

In particular, the Department officers have found over 1.5 tones of tomatoes with Turkish and Georgian origins in Bagratashen checkpoint, press service of the SRC informed “Armenpress”.

The smugglers concealed the goods in truck containers in specially prepared hiding places.

The Department officers also prevented the attempts of illegally importing over 600 kg cleaning products and 200 liters of car fuel.

Other cases of customs rules violations were also recorded.
