YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS. A cold atmospheric cyclone is moving towards the Caucasus from the Kara Sea, Deputy Director of the Meteorological Service Gagik Surenyan said.

Light precipitations will occur in the evening of October 24, transforming into intense precipitations on October 26. Starting October 27 the cyclone will lose its intensity.

Snow is forecasted throughout the country, except Yerevan, Ararat plain, Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor foothills. In separate areas fog, low visibility and black ice is expected.

The temperature will drop by 8-10 degrees on October 25-26.

The cyclone will mainly hit Gegharkunik, Kotayk and Vayots Dzor.
