YEREVAN, OCTOBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov announced that the cooperation of independent states shouldn’t be perceived as “something clear by itself”, the Belarusian government quoted the PM as saying in an interview to “MIR”.

“What the CIS gives us is being perceived by many as something understandable in itself, but that’s not so. That’s due to the fact that this organization is present. First of all I mean one of the most important economic aspects – the free trade zone, when products can be moved duty-free in the CIS territory and enter economic circulation based on free competition principle”, the PM said.

Kobyakov said the upcoming October 28 session of the CIS Heads of Governments Council in Minsk will focus on economy, with a special focus on initiating the agreement on free trade zone.
