YEREVAN, DECEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. French interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve has been appointed as France’s new Prime Minister, reports Interfax.

The decision was made after Prime Minister Manuel Valls resigned on December 6.

Manuel Valls officially announced his resignation in a meeting with French President Francois Hollande at the Élysée Palace.

Valls said he is running to become the Socialist candidate in the 2017 presidential election in France.
