YEREVAN, APRIL 26, ARMENPRESS. Tigran Mukuchyan, chairman of the Central Electoral Commission, doesn’t find Congress-ADP bloc’s appeal to the Constitutional Court on disputing the April 2 election result to be objective.

Tigran Mukuchyan made remarks during the discussion of the bloc’s application in the Constitutional Court, where he presented the clarifications why the CEC has denied the bloc’s appeal to declare the election result invalid.

“For declaring election results invalid, one must clarify whether or not the cited violations have occurred, are they substantiated or not, whether they have impacted the election results. The events which are presented in the bloc’s application don’t have primary significance, and they are not fact, but rather the reproduction of someone else’s story”, he said.

The bloc appealed to the Constitutional Court on April 14. The CC will deliver a verdict within 15 days.
