YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS: Armenian-Russian bilateral relations are developing more and more, Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan told today journalists, considering the change of a protocol in Armenian-Russian contract a positive change, according to which the term of the Armenian Russian military base has been extended. “We will do our best to strengthen the Armenian-Russian relations even more,” he said.

Director of the archive Amatuni Virabyan told Armenpress that 3 foreign scientists will visit Armenia within the framework of the scientific conference. About 40 Armenian historians and other specialists of the sphere will participate in it. Mr. Virabyan said that invitation-letters have already been sent to scientific-research centers and institutes. 

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS: Today Mr. Dirk Boberg, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Armenia, Lieutenant-General Alik Sargsyan, RA Chief of Police and Mr. Carel Hofstra, Acting Head of OSCE Office in Yerevan opened a Computer-based Training (CBT) Center at the Policy Academy in Yerevan. The establishment of the Center was initiated within the framework of the UNDP “Anti-Trafficking Program: Capacity Developing Support and Victims Assistance” Project and is aimed at assisting the senior management of the RA Police Academy to further improve the quality of training processes and introducing modern technologies to counter organized crime and other criminal activities.
