YEREVAN, MAY 19, ARMENPRESS. US Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills congratulated Arpine Hovhannisyan on assuming the post of Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, reports Armenpress.

The Ambassador’s letter reads:

“I greatly value the partnership that the US Government shared with the Ministry of Justice under your leadership. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to supporting our shared interests of countering corruption and improvement in rule of law, law enforcement, and corrections. The work continues; but the Ministry made concrete steps towards progress in these areas under your leadership.

I was pleased to see that the Whistleblower Protection Law, which your Anti-corruption team had been working on for months, has passed. We will continue to support the Ministry and hope for future areas of collaboration with you.

Please accept my best wishes for success in the new chapter of your life. It has been a great pleasure and honor to work with you”.
