YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. As of this moment 1100 people have been stranded on the roads under the harsh conditions of winter, including 270 children who are separated from their families, Ombudsman of Artsakh Gegham Stepanyan, who has arrived in Yerevan recently for the 4th Global Forum Against the Crime of Genocide and now is unable to return to Artsakh because of the blocking of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijanis, said during a press conference in Armenpress.

“This is another component of the Azerbaijani policy of ethnic cleansing, genocidal policy. It is being carried out consistently and systematically. These are not exceptional cases, but deliberate violations of the ceasefire established after November 9, 2020 and deliberate distortions of the agreements reached”, he said.
