YEREVAN, JANUARY 30, ARMENPRESS. The Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Netherlands appealed to the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Parliament of the Netherlands to meet with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, but the Committee rejected the request.

ARMENPRESS reports the document published by the Commission states that only the DENK faction of the parliament was in favor of the proposal, the CDA faction stated that it could not participate in the process, and there was no response from other factions.

The Commission noted that there was no majority for organizing the meeting, and no meeting is planned with Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov.
