YEREVAN, MARCH 14, ARMENPRESS. Parliamentary elections will take place in Armenia in April, first ever after the Constitutional reforms. The correspondent of “Armenpress” reports  reports President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan announced in his speech in front of the students and professors of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), adding that the changes in Armenia will lead to the establishment of a full parliamentary system of governance with more active and constitutionally protected opposition and more transparent and effective governance.

“Election campaign has already kicked off and the first reactions of international organizations show that we succeeded in creating conditions for an electoral process meeting the international standards”, President Sargsyan stressed.
