YEREVAN, MARCH 22, ARMENPRESS. The national security service of Armenia gathered preliminary intelligence in March 2017 on Armenian citizens smuggling an IGLA man-portable  surface-to-air missile system from Georgia to Armenia.

The national security service told ARMENPRESS as result of tactical-recon and investigation actions the firing tube and the missile itself have been discovered and confiscated.

A criminal case has been initiated on March 22.

Two suspects have been arrested.

Investigation continues.
