YEREVAN, MARCH 23, ARMENPRESS. The process of election campaign and the internal political developments make certain the presence of two political forces, the Republican Party and Tsarukyan alliance in the future Parliament, political strategist Karen Kocharyan said at a meeting with reporters on March 23, “Armenpress” reported.

“It is obvious that the two forces are overcoming the electoral threshold. If in case of Tsaukyan alliance, party rating is high, the Republican Party will sharply change that rating through ranked voting lists”, he said.

Compared to Tsarukyan alliance, the Republican Party has several candidates of ranked voting list, rather than one in all 13 constituencies. These candidates will first of all bring votes to the RPA. “Of course, most of those candidates are not political figures, nevertheless, they have various resources, financial, human, organizational. And at the expense of these the RPA votes will sharply increase”, Karen Kocharyan said.

Asked whether “Yelk-Tsarukyan” coalition is possible to be formed, he said: “Everything is possible in politics, nothing can be ruled out. I don’t rule out formation of no coalition both with the Republican Party and Tsarukyan alliance”.
