Businessman plans to expand range of Armenian products exported to Europe

YEREVAN, MARCH 27, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan on March 27 held a meeting with owner of Czech Foodish s.r.o. company Karen Sargsyan, press service of the Ministry told Armenpress.

The company is engaged in importing, packaging of processed agricultural products, as well as in wholesale trade by cooperating with major networks of the Czech Republic.

The businessman informed the Minister that since 2016 the company exports canned food from Armenia to European market.

Karen Sargsyan said they plan to expand the product types exported to Europe, the activity in Armenia and the cooperation circles with the Armenian companies. He added that they also have a plan to create logistics centers.

Minister Suren Karayan said the existence of logistics centers in Armenia and Europe is very important for Armenian businessmen, adding that the Ministry is ready to assist on this issue. The Minister presented the businessman the current support tool for carrying out an activity in Armenia which can boost and facilitate the business. Suren Karayan expressed readiness to cooperate with the company aimed at implementing its plans.
