YEREVAN, MARCH 27, ARMENPRESS.  The Secretariat of the World Tourism Organization has announced the completion of nominations of candidates for the Secretary-General of the organization for 2018-2021. “Armenpress” reports as of 11 March 2017, 24:00 (Madrid time) candidates from 7 countries had submitted relevant documents.

Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia Vahan Martirosyan is among the candidates.

Other candidates are from Georgia, Brazil, Colombia, Southern Korea, Seychelles and Zimbabwe.

The Secretariat received seven other applications which were not accompanied by the required documents. Consequently, the applications will not be submitted to the 105th session of the Executive Council.
