Armenia’s Olympic wrestling champ Arthur Alexanyan to fight for bronze in European Championship
16:01, 6 May 2017YEREVAN, MAY 6, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Olympic Wrestling Champion Arthur Alexanyan will compete for the bronze medal in the ongoing European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Alexanyan will fight with Ukraine’s Arthur Omarov.
Earlier, the Olympic champ was defeated by Norway’s Felix Baldauf, but won by 4:3 in a bout with Azerbaijan’s Araz Hasanov.
The other Armenian athletes, Karen Asmaryan and Gevorg Gharibyan, were defeated and failed to have the chance to compete for medals.
