YEREVAN, MAY 16, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) will hold a protest on May 16 in Washington against Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who arrived in the US. ANCA told ARMENPRESS the protest will kick off at 12:00 local time.

“This is president Trump’s chance to oppose Erdogan. It’s time to challenge Erdogan’s threats and the Turkish government’s covert campaign, which is aimed at impacting US policy through problematic payments to foreign agents, lobbyists and other powerful individuals. He might find American principles priority and refuse the Turkish ban aimed at the US’s commemoration of the Armenian Genocide”, the statement reads.
