YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan held a meeting with the delegation of Claus Mangold, president of the German Mangold Consulting GmbH.

Ruben Vardanyan, co-founder of Armenian Development Initiatives (IDeA) was also present at the meeting.

The sides discussed cooperation in the sectors of IT, agriculture, tourism, e-administration system and education, as well as the involvement of the German company in the Armenian market in the abovementioned directions and implementation of joint projects.

The PM spoke about priority programs of the Armenian government, the investment arena, ongoing reforms in various directions, including the improvement of business environment, and planned further steps.

Karapetyan emphasized that he is extremely interested in the expansion of the German capital in Armenia and involvement of administration culture, adding that Armenia can also serve as a good platform for foreign investors for entering both the EEU and Iranian markets.

Mangold said that his consulting company is ready to present Armenian investment opportunities to the German partners and contribute to the implementation of business programs.

In this context, the sides also touched upon the issues related to partnership between the center of strategic initiatives of the Armenian government and the Mangold Consulting GmbH.
