YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS. During the meeting with Armenia’s acting Minister of Agriculture Ignati Arakelyan in Yerevan, Iranian Minister of Agriculture Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati invited his Armenian counterpart to visit Tehran to discuss issued related to the continuous cooperation in the field, reports Armenpress.

“I invite you and your partners to continue talks in Tehran. During the talks we will discuss the results achieved at this meeting”, Mahmoud Hojjati said.

In his turn Ignati Arakelyan thanked for the invitation and the proposals of the Iranian side during the meeting, stating that Iran’s results recorded in agriculture field are very impressing.

“I am convinced that by establishing a working group of the two ministries, we will be able to learn many things from Iran and bring them to Armenia. Armenia can develop the production of red meat with the purpose to export it to Iran. We will definitely visit the Islamic Republic of Iran”, the acting Minister said.
