YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Vahe Nikoyan and Director of IDeA (Initiatives for Development of Armenia) Foundation Edgar Manukyan had a meeting during which issues related to promotion and development of investments field in Yerevan were discussed, press service of the Yerevan Municipality told Armenpress.

The Deputy Mayor attached importance to opportunities to implement investments programs in various fields of urban economy and presented the Municipality’s ongoing works on this path, stating that the Municipality is ready to assist the implementation of investments programs aimed at developing the capital city within the frames of mutually beneficial partnership.

“Today Yerevan has a favorable investment environment which is definitely an important precondition for investors. Today the investment proposal packages developed by the Municipality are already accessible. At the same time we welcome any new proposal”, the Deputy Mayor said.

In his turn Edgar Manukyan thanked for the meeting and presented the programs carried out by the Foundation. He highlighted tourism development prospects in Yerevan, attached importance to the creation of respective infrastructures and talked about investment programs which are possible to implement in the capital city.

In particular, the proposals of investment programs on constructing new ropeway in Yerevan, reconstructing the Victory Park, developing the Erebuni historical-archeological reserve were presented at the meeting.  

Agreement was reached to discuss in-detail the possible directions of further cooperation and proposal packages in near future.
