YEREVAN, MARCH 19, ARMENPRESS.  The third most important leader of Hamas' militant wing, Marwan Issa, was killed in an Israeli military operation last week.

The Israeli military last week eliminated one of the leaders of the militant wing of the group Hamas Marwan Issa. The information was confirmed by Jake Sullivan, national security adviser to U.S. President Joe Biden at a press briefing, BBC reports.

''The third man in the Hamas hierarchy, Marwan Issa, was killed in an Israeli operation last week. The rest of the top leaders are probably hiding deep in Hamas' network of tunnels, but justice will catch up with them as well,'' Sullivan said during the briefing.
