‘Armenian-British IT Initiatives’ to be held in London

YEREVAN, MARCH 3, ARMENPRESS. Within the framework of the “Armenian-British IT Initiatives program, meetings of 17 Armenian IT companies and businessmen will be held March 9-10 in London, with the purpose of finding cooperation deals, the ministry of transportation, communication and IT told ARMENPRESS.

A press conference was held today to inform the public on the event, with participants including Boris Demirkhanyan, deputy minister of transportation, communication and IT, UK Ambassador to Armenia H.E. Judith Farnworth and IT professionals.

Deputy Minister Boris Demirkhanyan said the event is a wide platform for expanding business ties and cooperation circles in IT.

UK Ambassador Judith Farnworth said the IT sphere has a big share in Armenia’s economy, and stressed one of the priorities of the Embassy is expanding the economic, commercial Armenia-UK ties and the mutually beneficial relations.
