YEREVAN, MAY 16, ARMENPRESS. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in the United States, Anadolu reports.

Erdogan was welcomed in Andrews airbase in Washington by US state department officials and the Turkish envoy.

Erdogan’s delegation includes the ministers of economy, foreign affairs, justice, energy and natural resources and national security.

The Turkish President is due to meet with US President Donald Trump.

The meeting is expected to focus on the extradition of Fetullah Gulen, and Trump’s decision to arm the Kurdish fighters in Syria, among other issues.
