YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Telegram founder Pavel Durov has urged users to delete WhatsApp from their smartphones, citing security risks.

He said that WhatsApp makes smartphones vulnerable for hackers and governmental security agencies. He said all data on the smartphones which have WhatsApp can be accessed by sending a video to the user.

Durov says he is sure that these new vulnerabilities will be used against journalists and activists, Interfax reported.
