Armenian Defense Minister doesn’t exclude border tension escalation by Azerbaijan after European Games
YEREVAN, JUNE 29, ARMENPRESS: After the European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan may dramatically escalate the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the line of contact with the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia does not exclude such development of events and stresses that the Armenian Armed Forces can not only give a counterstrike but also punish for multiple times more.
“I do not understand this point of tension by the rival, but at the same time I think that after the European Games in Baku there might be a tension on the border, as we know whom we are dealing with and we used to know his style of actions”, -told the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan to the journalists at the Yerablur.
