Police Colonel and General released from police regiment controlled by gunmen: no more hostages

YEREVAN, JULY 23, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Police Chief of Armenia VardanYeghizaryan and Deputy Police Chief of Yerevan Valery Osipyan have been released from the police patrol regiment where they had been kept as a hostage since July 17.

“The last two hostages, Yeghiazaryan and Osipyan, were released an hour ago. Now they are in operational headquarters”, Balasanyan said.

Earlier to other hostages had been released. There are no more hostages and works are underway to establish a media center in the area of the patrol service regiment.
