YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS. The servicemen of another unit of Armenian Defense Ministry’s peacekeeping brigade, who carried out a peacekeeping mission during the last months in Afghanistan as part of International Security Assistance Force, have arrived in Armenia.

“The unit of Armenian peacekeepers demonstrated high professional readiness and discipline during the mission, implemented their tasks with honor, and deserved the high appreciation of the command staff”, reads the statement of the Defense Ministry of Armenia.

Armenia has participated in peacekeeping missions in Afghanistan as part of International Security Assistance Force since 2010 under the command of German armed forces.
