YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Armenian cyclist Mker Mkrtchyan is all geared up for the upcoming European Cycling Championship, Coach of the Armenian Cycling Team Armen Gyozalyan told ARMENPRESS.

“Mher is one of those athletes who would refuse to take part if he wasn’t ready. Let’s not forget that Mher has quite experience and has silver medals in Youth championships. We will do everything to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games”, he said.

This is the first time in history when Armenia will have a participator in the European Adults Cycling Championship.

The Championship will begin on October 19. 280 cyclists from 35 countries will compete.
