Minors suspected in counterfeiting money in Syunik, Armenia
YEREVAN, DECEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. A criminal case has been initiated in the Syunik department of the Investigative Department on money counterfeiting. The suspects are minors, the Investigative Committee told ARMENPRESS.
According to initial reports, the minors, aged 17 and 16, produced counterfeit banknotes using a printer and used the money on November 28 in a local store in Lernadzor village.
Law enforcement agencies discovered the printer during search operations, including printing papers and computer processors.
The suspects are detained.
