10 killed in hotel blaze in China

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. 10 people were killed in a blaze in one of the hotels of the Chinese city of Nanchang, Reuters reports citing official Xinhua news agency.

The fire broke out on February 25 morning.

Dozens of fire trucks and rescue workers arrived in the scene.

One person had been injured jumping from a second floor window to escape and had been taken to hospital.

It is supposed that the cause of the fire was tools used to cut construction materials.

The police detained 7 people over the incident.
