WB program irrigation systems to be donated to village communities

YEREVAN, MARCH 23, ARMENPRESS. The government of Armenia will donate constructed irrigation systems to village communities. The program will be realized jointly with the World Bank.

Agriculture minister Ignati Arakelyan said during the Cabinet meeting the irrigation systems worth around 3.7 million USD will be given to villages in 8 different provinces.

He said the systems were built under the World Bank’s program on management and competitiveness of agricultural resources of communities.
