Georgian Ministry of Interior refers to the “IGLA” case

YEREVAN, MARCH 23, ARMENPRESS. The Ministry of Interior of Georgia cooperates with its partners in Yerevan over the attempt to transport “IGLA” anti-aircraft missile system from Georgia to Armenia, “Armenpress” reports, citing Georgia online, Minister of Interior of Georgia Giorgi Mgebrishvili announced.

“Investigation is underway. Details are being clarified. We keep in touch with our Armenian colleagues and will inform the public about the results of the investigation”, Mgebrishvili said.

Samvel Babyan has been arrested for smuggling IGLA antiaircraft missile complex into the Republic of Armenia. NSS Armenia informs that the public will be kept informed in case of any developments over the case.
