YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan delivered a lecture at Saint Kliment Ohridski as part of his state visit to Bulgaria.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the office of the President of the Republic of Armenia, with the lecture entitled "Armenia's economy. Facing the global and regional challenges", the President specifically referred to the economic development, vision and attractiveness of Armenia.

Referring to foreign economic ties, Vahagn Khachaturyan noted that Armenia's economy is closely integrated with Russia's economy due to the fact that Armenia has been a member of EAEU since 2013, but at the same time, the President emphasized that this does not prevent Armenia-EU active cooperation.

During the lecture, the President also referred to the rates of economic growth of Armenia in the current year and the underlying reasons, which are also related to the inflow of labor and companies from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. According to the President, the favorable conditions of Armenia's tax field and financial banking system are an additional incentive for foreign investors and enterprises.

President Khachaturyan noted that Armenia always pays special attention to the field of high technologies, foreign companies and investments and takes active steps to make them more favorable and attractive.
