Armenian President emphasized the mutual establishment of permanent diplomatic missions in 
Armenia and Austria

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. The President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan had a meeting with the Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen within the framework of the 27th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 27).

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the office of the President of the Republic of Armenia, welcoming the Austrian counterpart, President Khachaturyan emphasized that a valuable tradition of political dialogue has been formed between Austria and Armenia, which is the best precondition for the development of multi-sector partnership.

The President of Armenia attached importance to Austria's efforts and willingness to support the establishment of peace in the region. According to the President, the political dialogue is an important part of the bilateral agenda and Armenia attaches importance to contacts at different levels with Austria and in this context the need to establish permanent diplomatic representations in both countries.

The sides emphasized the importance of resolution of conflicts as soon as possible and the establishment of long-lasting and stable peace.
