The Presidents of Armenia and Cyprus refer to the trilateral meeting of Armenia-Greece-Cyprus 
scheduled in Yerevan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. The President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan met with the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades within the framework of the 27th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 27).

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the office of the President of the Republic of Armenia, welcoming his Cypriot counterpart, President Khachaturyan noted that the relations between the two brotherly countries are based on strong historical, cultural and civilizational ties, which ensures the continuity of interstate relations and the willingness for their further expansion.

The two presidents noted with satisfaction that the two countries have similar approaches to the problems in international relations, and also cooperate closely on various international platforms.

In terms of further promoting political and sectoral cooperation, the need to establish permanent diplomatic missions in both countries was emphasized.

The parties emphasized the Armenia-Greece-Cyprus tripartite cooperation based on common values, culture and heritage, and referred to the meeting scheduled in Yerevan in that format.
