YEREVAN, JUNE 11, ARMENPRESS. An exhibition entitled “Chinese elegant embroidery” dedicated to the Chinese cultural days was opened in Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum.

About 40 works including embroidery flowers, animals, landscapes and abstract objects were presented in the exhibition.   

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Armenia Tian Erlong, Deputy Minister of Culture of Armenia Nerses Ter-Vardanyan, a group of MPs and guests were taking part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

“Armenia and China have very good relations and these relations also develop in the cultural field. Talent and great patience is needed for the creation of these beautiful works. There is an Armenian word to describe these works, these works are divine. I hope this special exhibition will further strengthen the cultural relations between our states”, “Armenpress” reports, Tian Erlong said.

“Today we are taking part in the opening of this exhibition the works of which seem to contain dialogue, and only looking very closely to them, we can realize what thorough work has been done on them”, Nerses Ter-Vardanyan said.
